Grote dankbaarheid voor LAQUA

Eind maart trokken enkele van onze waterpolospelers naar Uganda om onze voormalige keeper Gil Gram te bezoeken. Gil is er samen met de Ugandese zwemfederatie mee aan de groei van de sport aan het werken. Leuven Aquatics stuurde als club heel wat materiaal mee zoals o.m. onze oude teamkledij, ballen en netten. Lees hieronder integraal het bericht van Erick Kisero, lid van het waterpolocomite van de Ugandese zwemfederatie. Leuven Aquatics is als vereniging trots dat ze haar steentje kan bijdragen aan de groei van onze sporten en fier op onze spelers die er in Uganda een ongetwijfeld onvergetelijke ervaring van hebben gemaakt.

Greetings from Uganda

On behalf of WATERPOLO in Uganda under the Uganda swimming Federation which is also affiliated to FINA, would like to express our appreciations on the support your team contributed to the growth of water polo in Uganda, we had a team of 8 players from Leuven Aquatics Belgium working with our development players and coaches on the 30^th of March 2018.

Our players and coaches learnt a lot from your team and we are looking forward towards working with your team to this cause “Developing water polo in Uganda and Africa at large.

T-shirts and some polo caps were also given to our players
